Hello, I’m Alison, but everyone calls me Aly.
Based in beautiful Devon, I create hand-drawn pet portraits filled with love, detail, and heart.
Art has always been part of my life, but in 2018, after losing my beloved cocker spaniel, Oscar, I picked up my pencils again for the first time in years. Drawing his portrait became a way to heal and it reignited a passion I never knew I’d lost.
That one portrait led to another, then another, and before long I was creating portraits for friends, family, and fellow pet lovers. Today, I feel incredibly lucky to turn cherished pets into timeless keepsakes.

After many years in a busy accounts career, I chose a quieter life in Devon, one with more creativity and meaning. Losing Oscar that same year changed everything. Drawing him brought comfort, and unexpectedly, it brought my art back to life.
Now, every portrait I create is a tribute, not just to the pet, but to the bond you share with them.
